About Seychelles

The Seychelles is an archipelago of 115 islands east of Tanzania. The three main islands are Mahé, Praslin (home to Anse Lazio, regularly voted the world's most beautiful beach) and La Digue (no cars, just bikes and ox-carts). Most travellers visit two or three islands on one trip.

Seychelles is more nature-led and quieter than Mauritius or Maldives. Resorts tend to be boutique luxury rather than mass-market, and the snorkelling and birdwatching are exceptional.

Best Time to Visit

April to October (cooler, drier). Year-round excellent diving.
